Hello, I have a 2005 C6 auto and it's taking off on 3rd gear, it's not taking off on 1st, this is an intermittent problem, I would say that out of 10 take off from 0 (normal) it does it 6 times.

Hi, their was a tsb on that 05 4l65 a4 trans of a mis-machined case. they should change the valve body with noids as the screen gets clogged with metal particles, if it happens again they are to replace trans with a re-manufactured trans

Get the OBD trouble codes if you can. Places like Autozone, etc, will read them for no charge. Then post the codes here and we might be able to help. Likely you will need trans work, might be minor, could be, but probably not, major.
