Default seat memory modules

Are the seat modules different between the drivers and passengers side?
I changed the drivers module and now the steering column doesn't adjust. I have voltage coming from the column switch, and if I jump the motor directly it works. Seems like there is no output from the controller.
Is it possible it's a passenger side controller, and it doesn't have the column circuit?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks
Guy

Try pulling out these connectors from under the drivers seat and zip tying them. It worked for me and many others.

It's far more likely to be the connectors than anything else.
