Default Can Somenone Tell Me What HP I Should Be Making?

So I was going to pick up a 2007 Corvette for 24000$ and I want to mod it. My mods I have are LG Pro Headers And X-Pipe Offroad, B&B Bullets Mufflers, Vararam Cold Air Intake, and medium to aggressive Cam. Around What HP will I be making? I will probably have a pulley added and gears in the future but for now just these.

~420-430 is my guess depending on the dyno. Have fun with the new ride.

420-430 seem really low. Do you mean RWHP? Or BHP? BHP I thought would probably just be into the 500's. 450-460 RWHP I would be really happy with.

A stick LS2 w/headers, intake, exhaust and tune will make 380RWHP on a Dynojet. Depends on the cam how much more HP you'll get above 380RWHP.

I think 420-430 rwhp is about right for the mods listed.

So how should I compare to my cousins 2012 Camaro SS with same exact mods? Cold Air, Headers, Xpipe, Borla Muffs, and Cam.

It will depend on his cam...I only have LG Super Pro headers, cats and xpipe, and I dynoed at 423 hp and 425 torque last week, here in hot humid Florida....I have a 2011 LS3 Grand Sport.

Definately getting an LS3 would be much better than ls2 but for the dough I can't justify it, and there is no good ones for sale in my area.

My guess is 435-440whp.

Edit: As for your cousin's car, his car will be making more power. But that thing is heavy as hell, and I would put money on you in a race 100%.

I have an ls2 and have been down the road... I take the above number down to 370 due to lack of an intake manifold. My prediction for the OP is 405 RWHP assuming cam is making 35hp

I had a 12 SS and have a 12 GS, both A6. Stock the SS dyno'd around 330, GS 380ish. SS had the works with a 3200 stall minus heads, finished up 435. GS has headers and 405. Buddy of mine has an 03 Z06 with everything minus heads with a smaller cam than I had in my SS and is at 430. Same dyno and tuner. With your LS2 and mods you should be around 390 to 400 if you push it.

Word of advice don't go to a dyno/turner expecting a certain number. You will always be disappointed. Just make sure it drives how you like. I will say though that my custom cam from Tooley netted me 72HP which surprised myself and my turner.

An "aggressive" cam should put you within range of your 450whp goal with that setup, but to guarantee it, you'd likely need to go to a Fast 92. Otherwise you'll likely fall around 15 to 25 whp short.

Well I have an 07 with Stinger exhaust, headers, no cats, 390 gears, ported tb and very aggressive cam, it dyno at 439 rwhp and torque at 411. I will install a Fast intake but I think I will only gain about 15 to 20 more horses.

I have a 05 ls2 m6 car with callaway cai, ported tb,ported fast 102,1 3/4 kooks lt's,no cats and bassani cat back. I've spoken to brian tooley on a few occasions and he said he could get me to about 480 rwhp with a set of tf220 heads and a custom cam (mild-med) for those heads.so subtract about 30-40 hp for the heads and you should be at 440-450 rwhp with a big cam.

I'm an 06 a6 with a stall. I'm at 456/421 with ported stock heads, ported fast102, spinmonster cam, ud pulley, corsa sport, obx LT's, catted x,ported tb, ram air ss intake. If I had a manual trans it would probably Dyno another 15rwhp or so. My guess 425 ish if no head work or fast 102.
