Default TR6060 won't go into 1/2 at all

Dealer replaced the slave cylinder about 3 weeks ago. Checked fluid it's pretty black (didn't check the fluid after dealer changed slave cylinder, so don't know if they even changed it?)

Where 1st and 2nd position used to be, it's now 3rd and 4th.

Didn't realize until today when I was at stop light, and put it into what I thought was 1st but turned out to be 3rd (due to near stall).

Thoughts?

Only thing I can tell you is that if they changed the slave, the changed the fluid.

I can get it into 1st, but have to pull it all the way to left (way further than usual)

You have to pull the driveline out to get to the slave. Maybe they did not out it together correctly.

I know they didn't, because the first time they "broke the throw out bearing", and had to do everything over again.

But I just took it for ride, and it's not doing it anymore...weird.

I would still inform the dealership and get a name of the person you spoke with. Most of the time, problems don't "fix" themselves. They end up breaking in the end.

Dakota 6,

Sorry to hear you’ve been having concerns with your transmission! I can imagine that could be pretty frustrating and confusing. I know you said it’s not doing it anymore, but we still suggest taking your car back in and having the corvette tech at your dealership check it out, just to make sure everything is fine. If you’d like to set up an appointment, I’d be happy to assist!

Thanks,
