Default speed sensitve steering problem

I have an 07 coupe with 28 k on it and I recently did a track day at Thompson speed way road course and towards then end of the day the speed sensitive steering was not working right it is always stiff and doesn't change at slow speed like it should by getting easier. I flushed the fluid and checked for codes and found nothing any ideas? Thanks Chris

New rack time. Sounds like the Magnasteer is malfunctioning.

Starting in 2008, the racks and other parts got redesigned for more precise steering. Our 2009 is worlds better than our previous 2006.

The new design parts can't be put in the older cars, but they started using the new tighter tolerances for replacement racks on the 2005-2007, so a new (rebuilt from GM?) rack might be better than before.
