Have you changed your differential fluid? I know GM had a problem w/ some low grade fluid ending up in the differentials. I had a shuttering/chattering sound that was fixed by replacing the fluid.

Probably a loose axle nut. Very common problem. If it is loose, buy a new one (less than $10). You can only torque the nut one time. I believe the factory torque should be 140 foot pounds. You can check it without removing the tire. Just pop off the center cap and the nut is right there. If that is not loose, check your sway bar end links. You will have to remove the tire to replace them. There are one on each corner and they are about $35 each. Two nuts to remove and another easy DIY project if you have basic skills and tools. End links are a common problem. I have replaced my rear end oil, end links and axle nuts and the car is silent. All 3 items completed for under $150 and about 4 hours in my garage.
