Texas Speed 383? can we use it?
I found a guy that had his C5 wrecked, and was looking into buying his fully built Texas Speed 383 from him. I was gou=ing to build my LS2 in my 05 z51, but this may be a better route. It has the boost cam in it and I am already procharged on 8psi. Can/will this drop right into the car? I would be getting solid mounts with it as well as the fuel system/everything on the engine. Would this work for me? I am shooting for 800-900 rwhp and with the lunatti rotating assembly, this will allow me to do it. Any help is appreciated!!!

I believe they should both be the 24x relucator wheel on the crank. I do not think there be a problem. You will still need to upgrade the fuel system (up to the engine). The driveline behind the engine will need to be able to handle the power.

how can I make the cam sensors work? I do believe my main tech said that is different as well. Any other ideas on the knock sensor to make those work?

I know there is a harness adapter to go from ls1 to ls2 style, I'm not sure if anyone makes it the other way around though. Only way I've heard of is drilling/tapping the block.

That 383 is most likely a 24x reluctor wheel.
