05 C6 LS2 to LS1 engine swap possible?
I'm working on an 05 C6. I have a line on a built 383 LS1 based engine for a substantial savings. I know it will bolt right into the car, but I'm curious about 2 things that may prevent me from purchasing if there are issues with making the systems work.
1 - cam sensors. I know the cam sensor is in the rear of the engine of the LS1 and the front cover/timing gear for the LS2. Is is possible to get the cam sensor to work correctly with the LS2 ECM?
2 - knock sensor. I know they are in the valley for the LS1 and sides of the engine for LS2. Again, is it possible to make the LS2 sensors mount to the engine, or make the LS1 style sensor location work correctly, again with the LS2 ECM.
Any other swap issues I may run into, feel free to inform me. Thanks!

I believe the 05 cam sensor is the same as an 04. the 05 has a C5 computer. Casper makes adapter harnesses for several components, I would check with them on the knock sensor.
