Default Reluctor wheels

Any of you guys know if gm tack welds the reluctor wheels now unlike earlier ones .

That's what I though but wanted to confirm on a crank some may have pulled out 2012-2013. The last one I had was a 2011 LS3 with no tack. I have a crank that the wheel is tacked that supposed to be from a 2013 LS3.
