Stock fuel pump

I've been considering e85 fuel as well. From what I understand. the heat content of e85 is less than your typical premium gasoline. When switching to e85, the rule of thumb is that is takes 25% more e85 to deliver the same btu content as the premium gasoline. This is why fuel pumps of a fixed capacity are rated at one power level for gasoline and a lower power level for e85.
Also, I've heard the stock pump is likely to suffer from corrosion with e85 use. Many people have run the stock pump or a Z06 pump with e85 and done on, but several have had to replace the pump more than once, at least that's what I have read on this forum.
Find a good e85 tuner and follow their gurl system recommendation to be safe, but it will cost you some coin. Better to go the job once and correctly than several times.
