Two questions. Is there an issue with the alternator hitting the cover on the drivers side? and how much does the Mobil logo take off of the cost?

The Corvette application requires removing the webbing on the back of the alternator bracket. It's an easy modification to make.

Could you re-phrase the second question?

Do you have an oil cap with a Katech logo or one with no logo at all?

Is there a link to the alternator trimming mod? What is the difference in slotted vs. non-slotted? Why would I order one vs. the other? Love the covers!

Slotted is the recessed groove for the logo insert.
