2013 Grand Sport Tire Wear
The outside tread on our rear P325/30ZR19 Good Year Eagle F1 tires is wearing significantly faster than the interior tread. We have 7,000 miles on them. Anything we can do to prolong the tire life?

Bottom line, the Goodyear F1's won't last long, get real scary at temps below 40 degrees, but at least they cost alot.

Burning Brakes
I ended up getting Michelin Pilot Super Sports and went w/the PFADT Performance Street alignment. My tire woes are over.

Common problem. Get an alignment done; get as close to "0" toe and camber up front as you can.

Have one of those infrared thermometers. One day was watching a race on TV and a pit crew guy was using one on the car's tires. So I tried it on my car. wow! It read 120 degrees on the inside of the rear tires and 90 on the outside. A check of the camber just using a level alondside the tire showed the tire tilted in over a half inch. Quick calculation says that's over 2 degrees neg camber. OK for the track. I adjusted it to 1 degree and the temps read 95 and 105

As others have stated, an alignment can help with the uneven wear, but honestly the Goodyear tires are junk and have very poor tread life as well as traction and ride comfort (both ride and noise). My GYs were at 4/32nds at 5500 miles, with fairly even wear on the rears. I switched to Michelin PS2s and they were noticeably quieter, rode better, had better straight line grip, and at about 7,000 miles, look like they have about 7-8/32nds left. Best advise is get an alignment, but also switch tires. If the new Michelin Pilot Super Sports are available in GS sizes, those would be what I would do, if not go for Michelin PS2 or Bridgestone RE050A.

Better pfad alignment sheet (no wiggle room in it), that you print out to hand to the tech, and if you are just street driving the car, then have the street alignment done to the car, since even the oem base alignment is a tad on the aggressive side and will wear out the inner side of the tires faster than the outer edges (unless you are pushing the car hard on the streets)

I did the pfadt alignment on my GS too. It seems to have evened out the tire wear a bit. My GY's are close to done. I've narrowed it down to PSS or Bridgestone RE050A, just need to take the plunge.

Get a competent source to do a full 4 wheel alignment. If you drive a GS, Z06 or a ZR1, and don't track the car frequently, then have the alignment done to base Corvette specs rather then the higher performance specs.
Bottom line, the Goodyear F1's won't last long, get real scary at temps below 40 degrees, but at least they cost alot.

I had the same problem, wear on the outside rears, '12 GS, which seemed weird. Fronts were fine. Did a shade tree check on the alignment and it looked good, about -1* camber and 0 toe. Changed to Invos at 9k mi., no alignment. Have 24k mi. now and they are wearing evenly. Can't explain it.

The stock rear alignment settings have a fair amount of negative camber with zero to a very small amount of toe in. Here is what they look like in the 08 FSM (FE4 is for the Z06 and FE5 is for the ZR1, GS settings will be very close to these):
Despite that most wide body cars suffer increased tread wear on the outsides of the rear tires. This wear hasn't got anything to do with the tires on the car it is all a factor of alignment. As you can see the stock spec for rear camber is -1.2 and rear toe is zero. If you have -1.2 camber that would mean the inside of the tire should wear more. If you decrease negative camber you would actually increase the outside tread wear. I suspect you have a shade too much toe in and might need to toe the rear tires out just a little.
EMTs will show this wear earlier since they have less tread depth to gain a performance edge. They corner very well when pushed on track and I have seen corners where the G Meter showed I was pulling over 1g with stock sized EMTs.

Replaced the factory Goodyears on my 2013 GS vert today at 17,890 miles. Bridgestone RE050A run-flats at Costco with a grand total of $1649.71, including their Road Hazard coverage. Told the manager of the tire dept that I had an A-hole question and she asked if I meant that it was a dumb question or that the person asking was an A-hole. I let her decide. The question was if I should risk having Costco do the work since the consensus on the forum is that Costco will end up scratching my chrome wheels. She replied that she would be doing the install and that my wheels would be fine. She was truthful - wheels are still in perfect condition and she arranged my install date to be today when the new Bridgestone $70 rebate took effect. Left Costco with the new tires and drove directly to Rydell Chevrolet for an alignment using Pfadt specs. They charged $79.95 for the work and did a great job. Within specs and the steering wheel is centered. [A year ago I had a similar alignment done at Discount Tire and they could not come as close to the Pfadt specs and my wheel was positioned slightly to the right. Have heard good things on the forum about Discount Tire but I guess it all depends on who does the work at a specific location.] Will stick with Costco and Rydell Chevy going forward - no pun intended.

I replaced the GY's on my 13 GS about a month and a half ago. They had 16,000 miles on them. Replaced with Bridgestone RFT's and had the Pfadt alignment done at my local Chevy dealer. We just got back from a 3,800 mile trip and intend to have the alignment checked again because some of the roads in the north east are crap and there were holes in several places big enough to swallow a car. So far we absolutely love the ride and noise reduction of the Bridgestone's.

GoodYear Tires
The tires that come on the new vettes from GoodYear are really bad. I have 19,000 mile on my vette and have gone thru 3 sets of tires. The ultra summer tites are not made for anyone owing a vette above South Carolina. Even when you have your vette in the garage during the fall to Spring the temp in most northern places is below 50°F making the tires crack in the tread. I think all vette owners should boycott GoodYear until they produce a better tire.

Good Year F-1's
Can't say anything about the front two but when I bought my 2009 it had the original factory Good Years on the back with a little over 24K. The front had just been replaced and showed almost no wear so I'll assume they had at least 20k on them. I replaced the rear just because I wanted all matching tires and the originals showed a little age (7-8 years old), checking. I've not had any issues with the Good Year however, I ran Michlein Pilots with very good results...almost had 27k on them.
