So today I installed my NPP exhaust on my 2005 and used the "NPP in a Box" I purchased from Top Flight and I LOVE IT !! My 2005 was never an NPP from the factory so using this kit, it was beyond simple and at the push of a button on my wireless remote and I go from Mild to Wild ...My 3 year old grinned from ear to ear when I reved it up and even my wife loved the new sound as well !!

When I pulled back into the neghiborhood I hit the button and closed it up...quiet just like the old exhaust I took off...of course when I got into the driveway I hit the button again and revved it up nice and loud

I hope this helps you in your decision but the NPP is great and Mild to Wild is awesome.

You won't be sorry. IMO the NPP is the nicest exhaust I have ever owned.

Hi
What remote did you use and from what year did you take the exhaust from?
Was this the easiest remote out there to install?
Did you do all the work?

Thanks

Alan

NPP Mufflers with 1-7/8 LG headers Sound Cllip.

I've had Corsa Sport, B&B Bullets, and B&B Fusions. NPP is THE BEST!

I live near Peachtree City. I go to the Caffeine and Octane car show about twice a year. Not going this weekend. Maybe April 5th.

Let me know if you want to meet up and you can hear it in person if you want.

Depending on the weather l will go this weekend. Is this just a car show or do they also have Speed Shops?

I know Vengence Racing has gone there in the past but no idea to just show or show their wares!

I live by Chateau Elan off 85.

Will let you know about meeting up on Monday.
Is it safe to take my vette or should l take another car?

Thanks

Just ordered NPP mufflers from a very nice forum member and looking forward to installing. I do NOT have a controller set up yet and am a little confused...

What is the difference between "NPP in a Box" vs "Mild2Wild" vs "Exhaust Rebel", etc? This isn't for lack of research but folks are using terms interchangeably and I get confused...

A little help?

NPP with headers is the best exhaust for these cars in my opinion.

Little full throttle sound while open

Idle while open

Don't have many clips with it closed but it's super quiet.

Mild to wild is for car that came from the factory with the dual mode mufflers. It allows you to control the valves manually.

NPP in a box is for car which did not come with the dual mode mufflers from the factory and need to retrofit it. It runs a vacuum tube from the engine to a vacuum solenoid to control the valves. It's pretty simple once you see it in person

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that! I just installed NPP mufflers on my 2008 base coupe at MIDAS and it... sounds... AWESOME! Of course I have not installed NPP in a Box yet but already know I want to (hey my wife has to ride in it!) .... Plus the car just makes too much snarling and gurgling and popping noises when decelerating or coasting. Some burble or a short "brrrrap!" would be fine, but the constant percolating is another matter! (P.S. Is this normal?)

Overall though, I can't be more pleased.

Popping on decel is normal. It is called DCFO (Deceleration Fuel Cut Off)

really? what didn't you like about the fusions? i've had both and to me the npp can't hold a candle to the fusions. I guess sound is indeed subjective.

Oh I assumed at least SOME popping and actually LIKE that stuff... It just literally sounds like I have an incessant coffee percolator back there now! ... My car went from Jekyll to Hyde!
