Yesterday finally I broke into the 10s on my 2011 grAndsport A6 Mods Cai/cam/conv/HDR
469hp with 1.4 60ft

What cam are you running and what was your RWHP?

thanks and yea forgot that part car is only making 469 rwhp and its koatic cam from vengeance racing

Congrats for breaking the 11.000 barrier.

If you scanned your runs, take them to your tuner with the timeslips and have him tweak the tune for the high end. That'll get you in the 10.8's or 10.7's. A little more pressure in the tires, if you can still hook, will help too. Take him a copy of my slip, so the comparison of a lower HP car is easy to see. Your 1.48 60' and 10.94 ET and mine are nearly identical at those points, but inbetween, you pull away until halftrack and then I catch you at the stripe. Since I'm a lower HP bolton, your cammed car should continue to pull away. The aero drag difference is not that great at those speeds, but the tune appears to be holding you back a bit.

That's good stuff right there.

As soon as this ice melts...I am going to hit the track and hopefully start getting some seat time... You guys are killing me...but please keep it up

Yes my tunner was there at the track he also said something is going on at the end ima leave the car at the shop to check any issues if car breaks 125-127 mph car should go easy 10.6-10.8 and also add skinnies and weight reduction I was impress on my 60ft due too have heavy replicas spyders up front

definitely something wrong maybe shift points
this is my mph with bolt/ons only

10.626 @ 126.98 - Dennis50NJ - 05 A4 Z51 - CAI, cb, conv, ewp, pfast, 3.73, hdr, ptb, tune, & more, DR - (3944) and look at the mph with this bolt on
10.788 @ 127.29 - LS1LT1 - 06 A6 - CAI, conv, fast, hdr, ptb, skinnies, tune, & more, DR - (5611)
and that was with 1.5 60 fts

What are the specs on your cam ? I also have a black A6 grand sport texas texas speed 235/239 cam full exhaust, cold air, crank pulley and. Yank 3600, this is what my times look like so far on a 28" slick and skinny set up

I've been doing it for years. Stock half shafts are plenty strong.

OP try some skinnies and take your passenger seat out and enjoy the .2 you get.
