Sway bar end links will make a clunking noise. I could actually grab mine and duplicate the noise I was hearing if I twisted the end link quickly so I knew it was my problem. Easy to replace. I did all four in about 90 minutes. It is a fairly common wear item. Worth looking at them as it is an easy repair.
