Are brands like obx and Texas speed good headers and produce the sa me performance? Looking to grab a set. Next question is with heaters and catted xpipe can I keep my npp exhaust?

Yes, all long tube headers will produce similar performance. I would search for your specific year of vette, and style (meaning dry sump, manual, or auto), because some brands have been noted out here to have fitment issues for certain years.

As far as NPP fitment, it depends on the header company, most do work with the stock NPP setup.

I have LG SuperPro headers, their high flow cats and their 3" x-pipe, and it mated up perfectly to my 2 1/2" stock NPP mufflers with their adapter perfectly.

OBX are on my car. I didn't install them but the feedback was Ok on the install. The gaskets and clamps are junk but the headers do make the same power.

Mine is bolted up to the stock NPP exhaust and it sounds just plain mean. One of the nastiest sounding cars I have been around that is not obnoxious.
