Turbo ? Or cams heads headers supercharge and cost

Most effecient way to boost your engine would be a turbo, slightly less efficent way would be a vortech supercharger, either way on a stock bottem end your limited to around 6psi...Cost is gunna start you at around 6k and climb fast with supporting mods/tune...I just signed a power package for my LS7 that includesheads/cams/intake/exhaust/clutch flywheel ect..Goal here is all motor 100% NA with a power goal of 600whp...I am north of 10k already and this is entirly NA just to give you an idea of the cost.

OP, the other way to look at your build is what are your plans for the car?
Is this a street car, quarter mile car, 1/2 mile roll racer, or are you building a track car?
Track cars are best non boosted because of the duration of the event, an intercooler will heat soak and really raise inlet air temps unless your running meth.
Drag / street cars you can ice down for a quick run.
I went N/A with a cam for road racing events, downside is less driveabillity on the street, a turbo or supercharger, would behave nice on the street and pull when you want it to.

Not trying to be a wise a$$ just being realistic. There is no best, there's just what's best for you. Turbo's are great but cost a little more than a supercharger setup but it's hard to overlook the adrenaline rush of either.

Best bang for the buck is a centrifugal supercharger setup. Depending on your power goals and how you like your power delivered, a p/d supercharger could work for you. Turbo's are great when you have room under the hood for them and all the plumbing that goes with them. You don't have room for all of that under the hood of a C6.
If you go the big cam route, you save a little, but give up decent manners and fuel eco. Plus you're limited to low 500's at the wheels. ANY supercharger system is easily capable of much more power while retaining stock like drivability and fuel eco. Some are even available with a little bit of a warranty.

I've got the STS Rear kit and wouldn't want it any other way.

I think backwards, upgrade the drivetrain, brakes and suspension before the engine. people want tons of power and then don't want to upgrade the clutch, trans, diff, and yes, brakes and suspension, so that you can you that power.
