Default I want 500whp on 91 pump, noooooow!!!!

Alright, I have the 2012 GS AOD and so far I have the OBX 1 7/8 LT headers and a Vararam CAI with muffler deletes. I was thinking a mean *** cam, , upper/lower pulleys, ported Intake Manuel Fold, 160 Degree Thermostat, 105mm TB, I'll tune it myself, whatchall think?

I think it will take at least a set of heads, along with your list...and still not sure you'll get there with the A6 trans.

I'm a forced induction guy, so I don't have nearly the experience with N/A builds as some others... maybe I'm wrong. Good luck.

Edelbrock Supercharger the smaller one will give you 560 is flywheel, right around 500 rwhp. With the auto might be a little under. Legal 50 States.

Most heads/cam/headers builds are at (or very close to) 500rwhp.

Just Do It.

I'm not getting why you're fixated with 500WHP?
Whats more important to you, hitting a number on a dyno, or a car that performs well?
Also, since you're thinking a "mean *** cam", are you willing to live with something that surges and bucks at low speeds and is a real challenge to tune?
If so, then you need to add a higher stall converter to your parts list. But guess what: that may make that all-important number on the dyno lower, unless you dyno it with the TCC locked.
If what you want is a radical sounding max-effort car, without forced induction, that will make around 500whp, then what you need is a properly designed camshaft grind with at least 230 degrees of intake duration and >.600" lift, and a relatively tight LSA (<114*) along with a set of TFS heads or ported LS3 heads. The ceiling on stock heads with a radical camshaft seems to be somewhere just below 500whp on the LS3 C6, so you will most likely need some better heads to get over 500. It will mean spending another $2-3k to get another 20-30whp though. Bear in mind you may end up with a car that you don't like driving every day though and gets significantly less MPG.
If 500whp is your goal and you want a dependable, reasonably quiet ride that pushes you back in the seat, then follow Boomer111s advice a just put an Edelbrock blower on it.
If that isn't enough, you can always add a cam later.

487 RWHP, 448 RWTQ with stock heads, stock intake, stock pulleys, Kooks 1-7/8 LT's with catted X pipe into stock NPP exhaust, Tick LS3 stage II cam, Halltech CAI on a M6

Now the bad part...lots of surging, bucking and snorting below 1800 RPM

The good part...she runs like a beast...she has shown a stock C6 Z06 her taillights a couple of times

Too many people get stuck on a HP number without thinking about anything else. I suspect the OP understands very little about what he supposedly has and especially how to tune it. Many HS kids tend to write things they've heard about in the same manner and not knowing what it all means or how it works.

That can be tuned out. My car only surges in 6th when cruising below 1800, however, I rarely drive it below that. I'm usually at, or around, 2500rpm's normally...................

Sometimes the crappy manners can be tuned out. Not always though. The world's greatest tuner in the world (that means he's a bad assed turner) can't always tame a rig with the meanest/nastiest cam (in the world). Whew...

A few measly pounds of positive manifold pressure negates the need for an ill mannered cam. I still like the sound of a grizzly narrow LSA cam. Don't like having to get along with one though.

F/I enables you to have your cake and eat it too. Whateverthehellthat means. It's all good though

Upper and lower pulley? This isn't a Shelby or a zl1/cstv/zr1.

Best of luck. I would look at a blower kit if you really want 500+ on 91.

I made 475whp/436wtq completely heat soaked in a 14 camaro with a 232/238 .621/.603 113+3 Cam motion cam, 1 7/8 headers, cat deletes, and adm intake.

Fast forward to 4 months later, I swapped out to a Cam Motion LLSR cam 236/246 114lsa, Frankenstein Racing ported heads (stage 1), Jesel roller rockers, and ATI 10% UDP, I made 551whp and 504wtq on the same dyno. This was on 93 however. I don't see you making much over 485-490 on 91 with no headwork. With a low lash solid roller I could see you hitting 500whp on 91, not on a hydraulic however.

Just remember that the higher the stall, the lower the 60' and 1/4 mi time and the lower the dyno number too.

With a stock stall and 500 hp, you can get your @ss handed to you by someone with a 4000 stall and 450 hp.

There are limits, so plan your mods wisely and forget a hp goal.
