2011 GS A6 -upgrading stock exhaust system - is a tune needed?
Hi Im contemplating replacing stock exhaust with a new cat-back system. Would I need to get the car re-tuned? It is currently a stock 2011 GS coupe A6. thanks

if all your doing is a cat back system, then no tune is needed.
If and when you do headers then a tune will be needed.
Also do be fooled be any additional HP gains claimed. There "might"
be a couple of HP points gained, but nothing that will be felt.
There will be some "make you smile" gains achieved if you choose the right system for your listening style. They differ greatly, so do your homework and research and buy a system that won't drive you crazy with drone.
I personally love the NPP because it lets me chose between quiet and a rumble when I want it
