I checked with my SA and he said he would install the Kooks. I was surprised by that and the fact that he said he would have to loosen the motormounts to install them.
Thought they were straight bolt ons? No mods needed?

Not knocking the name brands here, but if your quest is to get a bit more power and economy, then the economy part also means don't spend a lot for the power.

There are brands available for under $1K that will satisfy your needs. If you have no intention of racing, 1 or 2 HP one way or the other will not be detectable. An afternoon doing a garage floor installation with a mechanically inclined friend, will not only be less cost, but be educational and self-satisfying.

As far as the tune, a dyno tune from a local professional will make sure it's right for you and your car.
