putting 295/30r-19 on the rear
Good morning fellow c6 owners!
My buddy have a set of 295/30 - 19 that's so cheap it's hard not to buy...
My question is, can i use this on my 2005 c6 z51?
current tires spec:
front: P245/40ZR-18
rear: P285/35ZR-19
thanks,
Vince

No clue. I have a pair of Michelin Cup tires for track events in that size and have not had an issue. It isn't enough that I noticed a difference in my speedo vs GPS in MPH. Go to the Tire Rack site and plug in the tires you have and tire you want to buy and see what the difference is.

Ideally, you want 1" difference between front and back (larger) diameters for the traction control/active management to work properly. A shorter tire will also change the speedo. A 295/35/19 will work better, but you need to look at the specs of each tire because there might be three 295/35/19 tires listed with different diameter specs. Know exactly what you are buying. Go on Tire Racks website as recommended.

Thanks for your valued input. I only use the vette for short distant drive and never in any competitive driving. If i use these tires, my back is .3" higher than front compared to now at 1". As far as dash lights go, there shouldn't be any issues, right? i just hate dash light... i cant even stand the 1/4 light that comes on telling you to shift LOL.
