"The Z06 brake rotors and calipers will bolt right up to the base C6 spindles as the spindles are the same.
The only issue will be having the base/stock C6 factory wheels clear the larger Z06 brake calipers.
You can buy new wheels and rubber or opt for the tried and true economy method that will allow you to use your C6 wheels:
1/4" wheels spacers and ET (extended thread) lug nuts."

Premium Supporting Vendor
Have them on my 2007 base coupe.
Z06 oem:
rotors, 130 pair
calipers, 550 pair
caliper/pad bolts/pins, 25/set
brake lines, 40 pair
pads from autozone, 50/set
That's it, took about 2 hours and gravity bled them.

the calipers will bolt directly.
rotors you can go aftermarket z06 or oem z06 units
pads aftermarket are usually cheaper and better performing (depending on how much you need)
serious track people find these calipers a compromised solution and similar setups at similar pricing can be had with willwood products (Forged narrow superlight calipers)which will leave you with more pad options and lower pad costs due to the fact that the pad shape will be more common on the willwood brakes
as far as clearance goes
you can use the gumbys pictured above with a 1/4" spacer or go with a bit larger spacer on the other oem rims. alternatively you can go with aftermarket wheels - the company ace makes a wheel called the "slick" which looks like a z06 rim and clears bigger brakes
also the company tsw makes a few wheel options which also clear bigger brakes - interlagos, nurburgring, and panorama
good luck!

Burning Brakes
IF you go the new wheel and rubber route to clear the new Z06 calipers, the base C7 and Z51 C7 rims will clear with no spacers needed, the Base C7 is a 18x8.5 and 19x10, same as the base and Z51 C6. the C7 z51 is 1 inch larger (19x8.5 and 20x10). I personally am going this route as I have the Z06 calipers on my Z51. Purchased my wheels from FLoridaSpeedShop and swapped my fairly new Pilot SS tires onto them. Im still installing the setup or I would post pics...so if its in your budget..I recommend looking at the C7 rim options.
