Upgrading to z06 radiator...maybe
I have a 2005 z51 radiator with the internal cooler.
I can get my hands on a low mile 2008 z06 radiator with external cooler & lines for damn near free.
My question is, is this a direct swap or will I run into any issues because I'm changing the setup slightly?

Take it. The external cooler is worth $300 alone.
I have 2006 Z51 manual with a Z06 cooler and a Z07 radiator (much larger and all aluminum). The Z06 radiator is nothing special, but the oil cooler is the real win.

Keep in mind that 2005 Z51 M6's have both a transmission oil cooler and engine oil cooler built into the radiator. I found it quite odd for a manual to have an oil cooler, but they do.
