Default Building LS2 413 Stroker

Custom Brian Tooley Racing Cam 234/244 .602/.605 112LSA +4

LS2 stroked to a 413

4.100 I beam rods

11.5:1 compression

.005 over sized Wiseco Pistons

Steel rings

65cc CNC LS2 ported heads

5 angle valve job

102mm NW throttle body

1 7/8 headers no cats BB bullet exhaust

Monster stage 5 clutch

4.10 gears

Thoughts on what kinda power we should see with this build?? Only debate has been the MSD airforce intake with Nw102 TB being to big for the build...

I'm leaning towards 550-560rwhp...?? Same cam put down 503RWHP and 528RWHP on stock crank LS2... Hoping the 413 will wake it up a little more!

Place bets now!!!!
I say 602 rwhp. Without the 200 shot you plan on using.

Sounds about right to me. Anything greater would make me question the dyno. My tuner got a big number (that he won't tell) from my LS3 416" strocker and found out that a guy rented his dyno and messed with the setting to show higher number.

Ha! I'm not after a dyno queen but if it happens to break into high 10's 1/4 mile with 550rwhp I'm a happy camper all around

I think high 10's is a reasonable expectation.

Yes custom grind cam, built around the setup.. Everything is made to compliment each other... The only questionable item is the new MSD intake but I have seen great reviews thus far

Running a bit higher compression at 12.5-13:1, origionally wanted to build the car with the 413 then throw on a twin turbo set up... But that changed so I bumped compression back up... May look at installing alky meth kit to increase longevity

The intake they showed at SEMA is not the same intake that went into production. The stock LS2 intake is not the best, but not sure that the MSD is better than the FAST.

Interesting, didn't know that about Sema, that's actually where I first saw this and decided to run with it... The technology they showed and research in it was A++... I may just have to take it apart and see what production changes they made over that prototype

The shop that does my work was supposed to get an LS3 version to run a back to back to back test between stock, FAST and the MSD. The LS3 is on indefinite hold and the production LS7 numbers are not even close to their claim. The bolts they put in to hold the production models together impacts the internal air flow.

I am sure that it is a good product, I just don't think that it is as good as the initial claim.

Block is at machine shop still should begin putting it back in car late next week!! Few pending items still, deciding on headgaskets but will wait till after I have block back to measure P2V... And push rods...

Curious to see the gains from the MSD intake over the fast! Will be using the NW102 TB and deciding on SD tune or get larger maf... Since it's staying NA I'll most likely get a larger maf to run with the 102 setup..

I'm more than ready to get everything back in and together!

I changed to the LS3/7 style cartridge MAF, better design.

We're having lethal performance do a speed density tune, should be wrapped up tomorrow.. No solid numbers till we get miles on the engine
