Default Optima red top install problem

Trying to install an Optima red top 35 battery. The battery doesn't seem wide enough to contact the battery tray lip and the tie down puck in my standard 2008. Any ideas?

Take the puck and push it back as you tighten the bolt and it will grab the ledge of the battery.

Trust me, I retired from OPTIMA and have a C6 with a 35 Yellow in it that is the same case as the 35 Red.

I went with the yellow top due to not being a DD and having a tender hooked up.

I have the red in the 4 runner which is my DD. I have a 60 amp draw too from a RF amp.

I use yellow in everything. Cars don't need CCA like they use to, they need cycling and reserve capacity. So my Corvette, Acura, Ram Truck all have Yellow tops. Can't get one to fit my Ecoboost Ford, so it has the stock battery.

yeah...yellow is better if it sits for a week or two. Red is great for a daily.
yes on the fit...I did the same thing once I dropped it in. I looked at it funny for about 20 minutes and it hit me...oh yeah...then it worked like a champ.
