I just completed re greasing and tightening the bolts on my TTop and still I get a cracking noise coming from the top front near the front pillars of my TTop. Are there any suggestions how i can rid myself of this problem or is this just the way the corvette is with no solutions available?

I had the dreaded top creaking on my 06, GM replaced every thing including the latches, right after they did that it STILL made noise! as a last try I took dielectric silicone grease and greased EVERYTHING! the seals ALL the way around the latches and latch seats, pin pockets everything that could touch the top{ not worried about saving grease}, and guess what?... not a sound in 8 years! not a sound. GM sells their's as a seal conditioner, it has a part #, but I just used something I got from a electrical supply house or auto parts
