Default C6 Door not opening

The drivers door and window do not work on my 06 C6 convertible.Passenger door works fine. When the latch or inside button is used the led light comes on but door does not open.I checked all fuses, disconnected battery to reset computer, and put operating latch from passenger door on drivers door-all with no change.Any suggestions? Thanks

Did you move the button or the actual mechanic latch from passenger to driver side?

I had to change the actual mechanical latch a year or so ago on mine. Same thing..

I looked like a crazy person opening my trunk and pulling the door release string thing for a few days until the part came in, lol

I think that's probably the issue

Hopefully it does.. I can't honestly remember whether that part still worked or not when the latch went out, unfortunately

Your window does not index from inside or outside?

And you did reindex your window after you disconnected your battery?

If so maybe the door module, not the latch. The latch is a common failure but the window will still index.

I will look at the schematic.

Are you saying the windows doesn't work at ALL or just doesn't go down you hit the button to open the door?

I assume you've tried the interior and exterior door open buttons?

Have only changed exterior door button from passenger side not interior button.Re window cannot open or close drivers window at all. Also can not open passenger window from driver side button.Passenger side window controls work great.

There is a 30breaker in the interior fuse box that is for the power windows/door control modules.

The same breaker is used for both driver and passenger door control module, since the passenger side works I would make sure the connection is good (getting battery voltage) at the door module.

You will need to take the driver side door panel off to get to it.
