Mine hasn't really done it lately or I'd disconnect the meth for a few days since I'm running E85 now. Meth is set on 5 instead of 10 now, maybe that's related?

Andy at A&A originally set my meth kit at 2.5. After reading a few threads, I decided to bump it up to 6. The hard starting was at 2.5 and still at 6

Well for some it maybe meth related but for others it clearly isn't. One of the meth posters just said he didnt even go into boost. I have to say it was the most frustrating thing I ever had on my Corvette. Was the main reason I occasionally looked for a similar but newer Vette.

So lets rule some things in and some out. I can't take owning at $30k car that wouldn't start!!!

Meth systems only Yes
Meth Control Box setting No
Heat related Yes
Getting into Boost needed No
Specific Meth manufacture ?

Has anyone having this problem had their injectors cleaned lately and still had the issue?

Maybe on startup the Meth system energizes?

To clarify, this problems exists in cars without meth. That was how thread was started. Couldn't agree more with the statement that a 30K car not starting is unacceptable. That's a big reason I upgraded to a newer one. Was too frustrating.

Well.... I think i figured out the fix, with the help of Alky Control support. ( For the people using Meth and having starting issues) I know this thread started out as a starting issue in the warm weather, but i had the same issue, but with meth and only after i installed the meth unit, never before. So i opened this thread back up to maybe figure out if this fix would have fixed my issue. With so many people having the same issue, I figure I would post my solution and start another thread or something if needed.

Anyways, I changed out the check valves from the 3 psi, that was installed from the beginning, to the 10 psi check valves. Had these 10 psi in for a week now and haven't had one single problem with the starting issue. I can literally drive and get my car up to temp and let it sit for however long now, and it will start up with every time with no issues now.

Thanks everyone and sorry I hijacked this thread...

I just came across this thread once again. I forgot to update you guys on this but ever since I relocated the IAT sensor back to the charge pipe the hard start problems are gone. I have 2 theories as to why this happens. First the IAT gets heatsoaked once the engine has been fully warmed up and the shut down. Second the meth seeps out and get into the intake manifold. This only happens when hot and especially after meth has been used. Meth stays in the feed line and I believe the heat eventually causes it to heat up and pressurize some and make its way into the intake manifold. The IAT sensor probably gets condensed with moisture from the engine internals heat and the meth. That's my story and I'llstick to it! LOL

No, but seriously my hard start problems are gone and now I need another clutch

With the temperature down to 60-70 range the problem is gone. So we can say that it's definitely heat related. My guess is the under the hood temperatures are way down when sitting so the Meth isn't expanding into the intake pipe.
