Default unplugging ebcm

trying to slide the rack out of my c6, ebcm wire is running interference and need to disconnect it, not having any luck, pull the gray switch/handle towards the rear of the car, but it still is not coming off easily, does it need to be pried off a bit, don t want to break anything as i am sure it isn t cheap to replace it. any thoughts would be welcome. tried sliding the rack out the driver side as my friend suggests but too many steel lines from ebcm blocking the hole and i don t want to bend them, so going out the other side.

Work the top cam lever farther open until you get it's tabs aligned free of the retainer tabs on the ECM socket sides.

Once the connector sliding bar lock tabs are open to no longer lock on the tabs, the connect will pull off.

Once the connector sliding side bar slot are open to no longer lock on the tabs, the connect will pull off.
