Cool things about having a stall are the car will not be pulling so hard at the stop light also the converter is a torque multiplier but the oem is the opposite it actually is a torque tamer on top of that is 10 pounds heavier and larger diameter which all translates into resistance.
I changed mine at home in a few hours.

Talk to ADM Performance. They will be doing a Lingenfelter GT-12 on my 2012 GS A6. Quoted me roughly 2200 for parts, install and dyno tune. No stall required. Very well know shop in DFW area. Andy is the owner. Big name in the late model Camaro. world.
