Default 08 z06 tires

anyone know the widest tire I can use on an 08 z06? will the 345 30 19 work? I tried a set of cooper 325 30 19 they look bad and no traction. I like the nitto but i see a 345-30-19 is it a good fir

I've been running 345/30/19's on my c6z for 4 years now with no issues. There's even some guys on here who have fit a 355 on the stock 19x12. It was a Pirelli I think, not that great of a tire.

I've talked to a few people, much smarter than myself, about this topic. It was their opinion that a wider than recommended tire might hurt you more than help you. When you go with a wider footprint, the tire slightly "bows" causing your footprint to decrease, rather than increase. Probably not anything even noticeable, but I just replaced my tires and I opted for the factory size.

345 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Only way to go for street driving.
