Hooker Blackheart Exhaust For C6
Has anyone heard the Hooker cat back systems for the C6? I saw them at SEMA, but the only video is with their muffler delete system. I'm curious if anybody has this muffler system on their car?

I haven't heard any sound clips on a C6 yet, but the ones I heard on a mustang sound too quiet for me.
The type of resonator they run should eliminate drone if calculated correctly.
A very good deal for the price.
I am thinking of buying one just to try it and do a review.

I just ordered an axle back with no mufflers.
I also have a Borla ATAK on the way, after driving my car today with no axle back I might like the no muffler set up better.

I ran longtubes though an off-road x pipe dumping in front of the rear axle............it's race loud!
I now have longtubes straight into RedHots with turn downs at the axle.........it's easier on the ears.

I have a system on order...It was about 2 weeks ago and no conformation on eta. I checked their website and it looks like they are low on stock, as it shows only 1 left in inventory. I know the engineer from Holley who designed this system, and I will see if he can check stock.

Holley has 2 videos on YouTube of a stock LS3 Corvette with the Blackheart system with mufflers. Do a search on YouTube for C6 Blackheart system, one is of the car driving away, and the other one is with a Go Pro mounted on the rear bumper, driving around.

I actually put mine on last night, but the lighting wasn't good enough to do all the needed pictures. I will do that this weekend.
This is the no muffler kit, approx. 27lbs for the kit.
Tips are not bad, but the flanges for the attachment plate to secure each pipe together is welded at in incorrect angle.

Is this a cost effective alternative to a simple muffler delete job? It doesn't appear to be at $600.00 from JEGS.
What was your cost?

So this is just straight pipes?
Wow, that must be loud.

I paid 539 from Cospeed, and yes it did come with everything needed to install.
I think it is a viable option for just straight pipes.
Since I am in Cali and had to have the emission recall done. I lost my full Z06 exhaust with Borla ATAK due to this.
So with 4 cats and no mufflers, it is a little louder than my 3" Borla ATAK system, but this does drone.

I am one of the engineers working with the C6 Exhaust here at Hooker Blackheart in Bowling Green KY.
I see you commented on the brackets being welded at the wrong angle. We have installed production pieces on a handful of cars at this point without any issues. I would like to investigate the issue you had with the brackets and alignment so in the future production runs we can be aware and determine where the problem derives from.
Can you please PM me about the issue you had?
Thank you
