Need help with 2006 C6Z06 Cluster Wiring
I'm replacing the dash cluster in my race only Z06 with the Racepak IQ3 dash.
The new dash doesn't provide the fuel reading.
Is there a way to splice into dash harness and connect the aftermarket fuel gauge?
Anyone has a wiring diagram for C6 cluster to find what wire to splice into?
Thanks

I'm almost sure the level senors don't directly connect to the cluster/gauges.. I'm not sure if they go to the BCM or ECM, but I'm able to adjust what the gauges read by changing things in the tune (ECM). The gauges are probably just adjusting based on what the ECM is telling them to read.
If someone else doesn't answer on what/where the wiring is I'll try to dig up where the fuel level senors connect to.

I'm hoping someone else has access to (or knows how to find) better wiring diagrams. This is what I was able to dig up.. not sure it will be of any help. Lots of info but there's nothing concise about it.
Search for "Fuel level" throughout this document and you'll find some info on the wiring
Page 23, 25, 27, 47, 54 and 55 have some info on fuel level sensor wiring

Alright here's one that is a little better. The senders run to the ECM harness..
This one shows what pins they connect to at the ECM and also the resistance levels expected for different fuel levels..

In other words, it is not just a simple wire you can locate, single out, and then jumper from the existing instrument panel harness to your new gas gauge.
As has been mentioned, it may be possible to find the sensor wire coming directly from the fuel tank, but there are *two*, one for each tank. And given the uneven way the tanks empty, using the signal from just *one* of the two sensors is guaranteed to be wrong, since I believe the fuel level is calculated in the ECM from the two sensor values.

Each sender connects to ECM, the correct pin is in the pdf I posted

Just run a wire or two from the harness near the ECM over to wherever you need it

Yes. Which of the two wires you tap into will determine which of the C6's two fuel tanks (left or right) you want level info for -- each wire only gives data for 1 of the two tanks. And yes, the car empties the tanks one at a time... not both at once.

If I had to pick one I'd just use the driver tank since it drains last
