I've looked around for the answer, but can't seem to find it. I am having issues with my magnasteer/VES. It is very twitchy at low speeds. Once I get going it usually firms up and acts normal, but when I slow down the wheel will twitch and the car will move pretty quickly in whatever direction I'm turning. About half the time the 'service vehicle soon' message appears and it seems to turn itself off and just firms up the steering no matter the speed. I've checked for codes and the only one that ever shows up is C0450: 'Steering assist control solenoid/motor/actuator circuit malfunction'. My question is if there is anyway to turn it off? I like the steering being firm at lower speeds, and it's firm enough for highway speeds when it shuts itself off. Any direction would be much appreciated! Thanks
