Default Harmonic balancer/crankshaft relearn?

Does a "crankshaft relearn procedure" need to be done after replacing the harmonic balancer on my 2010 GS? If so, will this affect the tune I have? Is a relearn the same as PCM/ECM flash or is this a procedure that can be done without flashing PCM/ECM?

did you change to under drive or over drive or factory diameter pulley?

If factory diameter, you shouldnt have to do anything.

If under or overdrive, you might, im not familiar with them.

I'm staying with OEM size/pulley. So it looks like I don't have to worry about anything with the PCM/ECM, correct? I was worried about messing up my tune, thanks.

Nothing done to change the tune or crankshaft positioning sensor when you put the damper bolt back use thread lock and torque to 240 lbs. You are good to go last step (very important) cause the bolt does come lose and is not fun.

My Service Manual agrees with irok, they just replaced my balancer and I'm hoping they did the crank relearn procedure. Correctly.
What would the symptoms be if they didn't do it?

basically sensors possibly out of sync with each other and ECM.long crank to start but doesn't necessarily mean you will have an issue.if crank relearn not learned it shows as not complete
