I looked at the fine print. It seems that the promotion is limited to oil purchased from "participating retailers" listed at the bottom of the page. Walmart isn't on the list.

There are many stores the list, though, including local auto parts places as well as chains like Home Depot, which sells the 5 quart jug for $27.

Walmart has never been listed on their site. I've participated in the rebate promotion at least 5 times now and all of my Mobil 1 purchases have been at Walmart. I've never been denied.

Like 'Knives' said, I have done this several times with a Wally World receipt and have never had a problem.

Not that many times as you, but Walmart for the past 2 times, and never denied a rebate.

I should get my "check is in the mail" email from them any day now, but I'll update this post if they deny WalMart.

Same here, got it from Walmart the last 2 times. Got 2 checks last week. (one was using my neighbor's name & address).

I always buy the 5 qt jugs. I think it's a better deal that way, also.

Completely agree so do I. I just wanted make sure you guys are getting rebates on the 5 quart jugs and didn't need to be individual quarts.

The rebate says you can purchase either so go with whichever is the better deal.

I received an email stating that my request was being processed but when I check the link above it says that there is no record.
