If you can get a SprintBooster for less than $200, give it a try. You could always sell it if you don't like/need it. But for the same price, I would try the Vitesse. It essentially does the same thing but you have more settings with the ability to lessen throttle response if you needed to. In reality though, you'll probably find 1 or maybe 2 settings you like and keep it on that most of the time. But I like the adjustability of the Vitesse over the Sprint.
A custom tune can increase throttle crispness some but not to the extent the boosters do. So one does not cancel out the other. You should still get a tune though because there are other power and driving benefits that come along wit it.

The sprint booster is installed, and all I can say is wow what a difference. People are right about how touchy it can be at the highest setting, but I love it. Best $75 I ever spent!!

Just bought a 08 with an A&A kit, long tube headers,2.5 inch exhaust that was done by Blanchard Performance Engeneering(Lousianna) and has 64,000 miles.I'm not sure when the kit was installed but am sure it was tunedat the time my question is the car screams but how often should it be tuned.

If done properly then not really ever. I keep a wideband on mine to keep an eye on AFR but I do my own tuning so it's no big deal
If everything stays the same then there shouldn't be any reason for any tune changes.
Where are you located?

Ga. Was thinking more about a trans tune,it seems slugish between gears especially with the paddles.Has the tune on the auto's been available for a while or is it something new.I'm thinking my A&A kit has been on the car for a while.

A6? Parameters have been available for years. It's not like tuners hit a "make it not sluggish" button though.. HPT/EFI Live give direct access to hundreds of tables, they do NOT provide tunes, so tuners have to figure out what to change and by how much. Tuning engines is easier than A6's in my opinion.
My point being, transmission tune probably needs some work by someone that knows what they're doing on them.
