Bad Transmission. Rebuild or Buy New ?

Bad Transmission. Rebuild or Buy New ?
The transmission on my 08 grinds 5th gear on high RPMs. Any idea on what cost is to rebuild it or should I just purchase a new transmission. ?
T6060 transmission.

Rebuild as in yourself to fix the problem,a few hundred dollars in parts at most.

More than likely pay a certified t6060 mechanic. i don think i would have the courage to open a transmission.

Then better have deep pockets, since the Corvette tax is high if you are paying for someone to wrench on it for you.
