Default Headers question

Just bought a set of hinson long tubes, my question. will i need 02 sensor extensions and if so how many?

They are supposed to come with extensions if you bought them new. They are needed for the install.

Hinston is famous for shipping extensions that are too short, just a heads up.

Yes, will need the two Pre-02 extension cables.

The rear/post 02 sensors will be deleted (plug the threaded channels if you have any), and the rear 02 sensors will be deleted in the tune.


Hence the rear 02 sensors are only used to monitor the cats only, and with them now high flow cats well away from the head, the differential readings between the pre and post 02 sensors will not be great enough, and will just end up throwing trouble codes instead.

Hence the motor only needs the pre02 sensors to run in close loop (when not running open loop during WOT isntead)

I installed my rear O2 sensors only for "looks" incase the emissions guy decided to do a "visual" inspection . They are turned off in my tune .
Just had to get my 1st emissions test , rolled into the station ,guy plugged in the OBD , ran the test , told me I passed and never even looked ..... so much for me worrying about that lol
