If not would a ls3 throttle body work with my pcm?
Is there a difference between a 2008 corvette ls3 throttle body and a 2009 corvette ls3 throttle body?

I'm under the impression that throttle bodies with a gold plate are from 2009 and newer corvettes and can't be used on a 2005 ls2 pcm.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I believe they changed to gold blade throttle body in mid 2008. The 05 TB will bolt up to your LS3 intake manifold.

All of the ls2,3,7 throttle bodies are the same up until 2008.

The gold and silver blade TB's open the blade in the opposite directions from each other. So if you swap from a silver to gold blade TB, you have to reprogram the ECM so it openings and closes it in correctly.

Worked on my car until I got a NW102, then had to reprogram.
