Default Budget LS2 build

The purpose of this build was to make LS7 power out of my little engine that could. So I finally made the purchase on my final phase of my budget LS2 build that I started last year. I purchased set set of Tony Mamo's MMS 223 Sportsmans Cylinder Heads Specs on the head are below.

MMS 223 Sportsman Cylinder Heads
63.5 cc chambers
PAC .650 valve springs with Titanium retainers
.040 cosmetic head gaskets will net 11.5 CR and a .035 quench
These heads are an as cast heads with hand finished bowls and ports.

Here are the flow numbers on a 3.90 bore motor.

Lift......Int.....Exh

.200....150....125
.300....213....182
.400....261....215
.500....297....226
.550....311....230
.600....317....233

Here a couple pictures of the hand finished ports of exhaust and intake ports.

I also purchased a set of Yella Terra 1.7 Non adjustable Roller Rockers with Tony Mamo custom shims for proper rocker geometry.

Here is a link from my last year build thread, when I added headers, cam and a FAST.

Hey Steve, I should have them installed in a few weeks. I'm still waiting on my head gaskets and a few other parts.

He is a current idle clip on my little engine that could after my cam install. I don't think it the sound will change much with these heads installed.
