Default SLP Loudmouth Does not fit with Kooks headers and xpipe

I had my Kooks long tubes and catless X-pipe installed yesturday and now my SLP loud mouth exhaust does not fit. I went and talked to the GM tech that installed the headers and the header install is perfect but the SLP over the axle pipes do not fit. From the looks of it they need bent slightly more to fit over the axle correctly.

I am running it with the factory non NPP exhaust now and it sounds horrible. Has anyone else had this problem or no of a fix for it? I love my Loud mouth exhaust and I love my cars being extremely loud so with headrs no cats and SLP exhaust it should sound great. Thanks for the help.

Did you get matching year ranges for your xpipe and axleback?

I feel like you were sent the wrong part somewhere in that case.

I am getting the car and the SLP exhaust back later today and I am going to check and see if they all match up.

I just checked and all the parts matched up correctly. This weekend I am going to get under it and see what I can do.

Are you aware there was a change in the angle from X-Pipe to over axle in 2009? 2005-08 is one design, and 2009-13 is another. An X-Pipe from the 2005-08 will not fit an over axle for 2009-13, and vice versa.

I went thru and checked out the parts and the X-Pipe part number matches a 2009-2013 and the SLP is for a 2009-2013

I thought I should mention that I was running the SLP exhaust with no problems with the factory X-Pipe. I am just going to have a exhaust shop do the modifications it needs.

The car is at the exhaust shop today and they called and said they had to bend it slightly in one area to have it clear. I am looking forward to hearing this thing, hopefully it is loud.

I got the car back last night and I love it. The shop just made custom pipes into the SLP mufflers and tips. If you do not like loud probably not the exhaust for you because in cruise you have to speak up to hear anyone in the car.

I will get a few pictures later and some sound clips of it. Inside the car about 65-70 it is so loud you can barely hear your passenger.

I am used to riding my R1 everyday which is really loud so I am used to it.
