Default Long Tube HP with Z06 manifolds and cats

Just got my 2005 Manual Base C6 tuned after putting on the C6Z manifolds, cats and half the h-pipe(welded the 2.5" stocker halfway back to keep my 2.5" corsa extreme) and a Fast 102 (not ported) and K&N. I wound up with 386hp/388tq on a motor with 90,000 miles (a testament to GM performance longevity). I didn't do long tubes because of CA smog laws but have to say that this setup comes mighty close!

Nice, looks like Rick tuned your car. Did your clutch start to slip at the end of the run?

I picked up 28 rwhp and 22 lbft. going from the LS3 NPP to a full 3" Z06 exhaust tuned.

Not a bad mod for CA cars!

Not sure if there was clutch slippage as I wasn't in the back of the shop for the runs and Rick didn't mention anything. I have yet to push the car since the tune as it was 85 degrees in Livermore and then traffic on 680 getting home. Nice gains on LS3 Mike!

I had a more pronounced hook at the end of my run. If you had clutch slip, Rick would of mentioned it to you as he did to me.

Since then, Abel Chevrolet replaced the clutch with a dual disc Mantic. I also had Able install the Z06 exhaust and tuned by Matt@gptuning. Matt tunes in So. San Francisco (actually Colma) which is much closer to me. Both Rick and Matt are great tuners. Enjoy!

I had contacted Matt first but he was 2 months booked out! I am very happy with Rick's work and I've heard nothing but praise for Matt.

Same wait here, but I was lucky to fill a cancellation, otherwise I would still be waiting...

I did the same thing on my 2009 C6 Coupe A6 with 2.56 rear - 391 RWHP 387 RWTQ

ZR1/Z06 Exhaust Manifolds

2011-2013 Down Pipes

2011-2013 X-Pipe (with the extra cats, for the CA visual)

Into my stock 2 1/2" Bi-Mode factory NPP mufflers

Thanks,Matt
