Default Requesting oxygen sensor information for 2008 ls3

I would like to change all of my oxygen sensors on my 2008 ls3.
How many do I need? Requesting any info that you may have.
Want to use original replacement parts only. AC Delco?
Part numbers would help. TIA

P.S.
I am getting conflicting info. Some say there are 4 sensors and some are saying there are 5 sensors.
2 upstream
2 downstream
1 or 2 center
Don't know whos right

There are 4.

2 up stream ("front")
2 downstream ("rear")

Up stream help control fueling

Downstream are just there to make sure the cats are working.

Front ones will have a triangle'ish connector. Rear will be square.

AC Delco / factory replacement fronts:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Same for rear:
https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-213-1...6DQ7B2NMPRN32N

Personally I would only change the front ones as the rear are only used for making sure the cats are working. If you don't have any lights on on the dash, then they are fine.

Fronts are almost surely fine too, but that's the two I'd replace if I were going to replace any of them

Thanks for the response but here is what I have found:
When I do the 'Check Fit' on amazon for the
213-1964 it shows that it fits but it also
says 'Center' and not 'Upper or Lower'
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

When I do the 'check fit' on the other
link that you posted I get a does not fit.
https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-213-1...6DQ7B2NMPRN32N

And I am guessing that this one is the rears or lowers:

Don't worry about the guy that's bought all of these sensors and installed them multiple times, go with what Amazon suggests.

They do make a special socket to install them with, but it is not required if you can get a box end wrench in there.

Think it is 7/8".

Qty (2) of each. That's all the O2 sensors you have.
ACDelco #213-4230

ACDelco #213-1694

Yes, and the fronts get all of the wear, heat, etc.

Why????

Just data log the sensors with the engine running, and unless you come up with a bad or lazy sensor, the old sensors are fine.

Hence on the Pre-o2's then should be fluctuating from about .2 to .9V volts up and down, and the posts should setting into about a .4v steady at idle. Give the car some gas, and the post should climb a touch, and them settle back down to around .4 again after a second when the car is idling again.

I agree. Unless you have a check-engine light or the car seems to be running wrong, there's really no need to go through the trouble of replacing the sensors. Sure, you can, but you'll be out around $200 or so for all 4, and you'll have to jack up the car and then figure out how to get the old sensors off since they're likely sealed to the pipe with carbon deposits (note: a tip for this is to run the car for 10 min or so directly prior to removing the sensors to allow the deposits to soften and the O2 bung to expand). At the end of all that, you'll have a system that functions pretty much identical to how it was before.

If you have detected a sensor issue, then obviously replacement makes sense, though. If you decide to replace, go with the OE part number AC Delco sensors (made by Denso) rather than NTK or Bosch sensors.

For a 2008 LS3 the correct sensors for the rear/lowers are ACDelco 213-4230.

So I'm throwing a P2272 code on my 08 LS3. If my goggle-fu is good then it points to the rear oxygen sensor and the correct part numbers...which lead me to this post. AC Delco 213-4230 which I can get off amazon for about $60 each...and the offset oxygen sensor socket. for another $20ish.

The problem is I really can't find a good picture/diagram of where it's located and more importantly....am I jacking up the front or the rear of the car. Internet looks full of explanations or videos but not a video for an LS3 or even a diagram of where I could find them. I think the sensors for the C5 were rear on the car judging by some photos I've seen in a Chiltons manual but I get the sneaking suspicion they are locate up front on the LS3's.

I'd like to just jack the car up in my driveway and get this done. I'm not real keen on driving to the nearest lift and then waiting for the car to cool a bit or worse yet...working near the cats when it's just been driven for 25 minutes. No...leaving it sit on the lift is not an option as it's a per hour charge.

Should see the Sensor 1 just before catalytic and Sensor 2 right after the catalytic converter, two per side. If you have four catalytic converters, ignore the mid pipe cats, they are not monitored.

I would lift from the jacking point behind the front tire. Then replace the two sensors on that side and repeat for the other side.

I use two jacks on the front frame jack points and then place jack stands under the front cradle for safety. Please don't try to make it a "quicky repair" and forgo the jack stands because you will end up well under the car's frame if you are making the repair on a shop floor. On sensors that seem too tight for an open end wrench, I've cut the wire off the sensor and used a standard 6 point socket.

Good day to everyone, I have a 2008 and the check engine lights is throwing the P0430 code which I am assuming has to do with the downward 02 sensor. It indicates bank 2, is that the drivers side or passenger side? Im assuming the passenger side I just need some clarification to be sure.
