Gauges stop working
My buddy has a 2006 Corvette Convertible. When we were in Carlisle he showed me a problem he was having. When we left the hotel in the morning all worked fine. But later that afternoon with car sitting in the hot sun at the field we returned and he started it up and his gauges were no longer working. As we drove and it cooled down the gauges returned to normal. He has brought back to Chevy twice and there are no codes and they cant seem to duplicate the problem. Any Help out there?

Sounds like a BCM...Body Control Module. When mine went out, I also lost the power window functionality. The module is under the passenger side foot well, IIRC.....check for a bad/faulty connection.

Just to add to the above ,check the ground for the dash , then pull the fuse for the gauges and clean the connections..It could possibly be a solder joint in the cluster itself...WW

It's always better to find the problem before throwing parts at the car...I always try the simple/easy things first before buying parts.. Plus the price of the BCM might be $80.00 , but you will be changed at least $100.00 to have it mated to the car with a Tech 2 ....WW
