Default Corsa Sport Install

Picked up a slightly used set from a forum member and installed them today. Not difficult... especially if you have a small plastic card. I would have done it myself as I have a 4 post lift, but I am getting ready for a 10 day trip and wanted them on before I left.

1) Drop the rear sway bar. Just remove the 4 nuts that hold the sway bar bushings. That's fine and dandy if the lower bolts were installed correctly at the factory. Mine were installed on the exhaust side and not the engine side. So, when we removed them the lower control arm dropped. Now, we had to mess around to get the bolts back in from the engine before removing the exhaust.
2) Spray some PB Blaster on all the nuts and rubber isolators.
3) Start in rear and disconnect the mufflers from the isolators.
4) Loosen the nuts on the muffler to mid pipes.
5) Remove the center support nuts/bolts/springs.
6) Remove the nuts from the mid pipes to cats.
7) Wiggle the mid pipes from the mufflers.
8) Remove the mufflers
9) Install the Corsa mufflers in the isolators
10) Installed the muffler pipes. This takes 2 people.
11) Installed the mid pipes. Again it takes 2 people.
12) Start at the front and SNUG the mid pipe to cats nuts.
13) Re-install mid pipes center hanger nuts/bolts/springs.
14) Now align the pipes and mufflers before you tighten anything.

Your done.. Crank it up and listen to the sound. While you at it check for leaks.

I have a set on my Hemi Challenger and there are mild when your not on the gas. But, put you foot in it !!!! The Corvette is pretty much the same. Big plus neither set has any drone!

But... to each his own.
