Actually in another thread someone weighed the stock intake versus the FAST 102 LSXr. The stock intake weighed 6 pounds and the LSXr weighed almost 11.

For not too much difference in cost, you might consider swapping to LS3 heads and a LS3 manifold. Better heads and better manifold that can also be ported to flow about the same as a FAST.
You'd be getting fresh springs, guides, and valves in the process and could sell the LS2 heads to recover some of the expense.
