Spark Plug Wires

From what I've read out here over the years, most are using stock wires, except for very high hp applications. They probably have more info in that forum section to cover what they use.

Not in this case.
OEM are just about as good as it gets. Only ones I would say are arguably better are the firecore 50s, but unless you are going for 2000hp the OEM are proven to 1500rwhp.

Stock are best..I usually find 50k miles is a good time to replace.

Define better? There is zero performance difference. Electricity doesn't travel down the center of the core, and ohms don't mean much of anything for performance, and it is physically impossible for something to be zero ohm anyways.
Its like saying is a vette just as good as a ferrari 360 to drive in a school zone at 25mph. Both do the same thing, one at a much lower cost but if showing off at car shows and telling people you paid a lot more is worth it to you, then go ahead and blow 3x as much for no noticeable or detectable difference.

My stock wires worked fine for many years. I did change to Firecore 50's during my last build. I figured the wires were 8 years old and due.
I don't think there is a better wire available and to be honest, the extra 60 or 70 bucks, (let's call it 10 bucks a year) is nothing in the scheme of things during a build.

The factory plug wires don't have a carbon core and they aren't high ohms. They have a spiral wound core with low resistance, less than 200 ohms if I remember correctly.
