Default Will Grand Sport calipers fit on a base car?

I recently upgraded to drilled and slotted rotors on my base 2006 convertible. Will Grand Sport calipers fit on a base car?

Yes, they will fit, but they will hit the inside edges of your stock (base) rims on the front. You will also need larger 14" diameter rotors.

Folks have converted to the Z06/GS brakes, and it also requires longer brake lines (from the GS or Z06) for the front too.

There are DIY threads out here on what you need to do, which cover everything.

But it is not just a simple bolt on swap, sorry.
