Default Locked out - dead battery and the trunk latch doesn't work

My battery is dead. I need to put on the charger. Which means I need to pop the hood, which means I need to get inside the car. But I can't open the door to get inside the car because the battery is dead!! Neither Mr. Puff nor I can get the mechanical key and lock in back to work. (key goes in and turns but doesn't unlock)

I wanted to try a locksmith ($) before calling the shop/tow ($$), but neither of two that I've called will touch a C6. Can anyone tell me about a hack, or a Dallas/Lewisville-area locksmith with the right tool/know-how? Or am I gonna have to just call Corvette World?

Try pushing down on the trunk lid while someone turns the key..Taking pressure off the locking mechanism may allow the lock to move.....WW..

If you're able to jack up the right front you can connect a charger to the positive cable on the starter and the frame ground.
